With short, kid-friendly descriptions for every badge, girls don’t need to know what a badge like Household Elf or Budding Entrepreneur means before they vote. They can read what they’ll actually get to learn, make, try, or do and choose from there.
Two Easy Ways to Use It
Print It
Girls choose up to three badges in each category and can circle the one they’re most excited about. Leaders use the included tally sheet to quickly see which badges rise to the top.
Make It Digital
Use the included script to create your own Google Form, linked response spreadsheet, and automatic rankings dashboard. The Brownie version also tracks award interest separately, so awards don’t compete with badges in the overall rankings.
As girls submit their surveys, the linked planning dashboard automatically shows:
- Votes for every badge
- Each girl’s category favorites
- Weighted badge rankings
- Your troop’s Top 10 badges
- The number of responses received

A Quick Note About the Digital Version
The digital survey requires a free Google account.
Your Form, spreadsheet, and troop responses are created inside your own Google Drive. Badge Buddy cannot view or access your survey responses.
The first time you create the survey, Google will ask you to approve permission for the tool to create the Form and spreadsheet in your account. The included guide walks you through every step.
